Chris Stewart

In a past life, Chris spent five years studying the physics of quarks, the tiny particles that sit at the heart of protons and neutrons, which in turn make up the nucleus of the atom. After a while, he realised he actually just liked to say the word 'quark', and so gave up research for a life of scientific story-telling. Chris works at the University of Sydney's School of Physics, teaching science communication and running the Science Foundation for Physics.
